To ask the Minister for Finance his views on the predicted increase in mortgage interest rates in 2011, which will add further financial pressure to hard-pressed homeowners, many of whom it is believed will fall behind on payments or face selling their homes as a result; and if he will make a statement on the matter Education

BROADBAND ON THE WAY TO GLANWORTH - SHERLOCKWORK is expected to begin on enabling the Glanworth exchange for broadband in April according to local Labour TD Seán Sherlock. Deputy Sherlock, who has been in regular contact with Eircom on the provision of broadband since his election in 2007, said in recent correspondence the company have stated to him that work is scheduled to commence in April. "I am told that while they do not have a specific date as yet with Easter at the start of April month it will more than likely be toward the end of the month. This is good news for local business being hit by expensive dial-up costs while they are also findings said the Labour TD.
