CORK EAST LABOUR TD Seán Sherlock will hold an ‘on-street Clinic' in advance of Friday's Referendum on the Lisbon Treaty today, Wednesday September 30. Deputy Sherlock said the session was about making himself available to deliver his message on the Treaty at a grass roots level.

"A common argument is that there is not enough being done to inform the people as to what the Lisbon Treaty is about. Today I am putting myself out there to answer any questions they have on the Treaty and to explain to them why I think a Yes vote is crucial for Ireland's future."

 

 

"There has been a lot of confusion on both sides of the argument. I think it is vital that public representatives like myself would engage with as many citizens as possible to explain what is in the treaty and cut through a lot of the rubbish a lot of people are hearing on the airwaves," concluded Deputy Sherlock.

 

 

Deputy Sherlock has previously held an information night on the treaty in Kildorrery and has canvassed Conna ahead of Friday's referendum.
